RESIDENCY PROGRAM
TTRP—001 / RESIDENCY SYSTEM PRE-PILOT EDITION / 2026

For the things you’re ready to build.

A place to turn
“I know” into
“I built.”

Practical engineering tasks. A workflow that keeps you moving. A growing body of work that’s actually yours.

TTRP is a technology residency that simulates the rhythm of an engineering team: understand a requirement, build, communicate progress, submit your work and use feedback to move forward.

Progression
Informed by your profile and journey

You work on one defined engineering assignment at a time. We call it a backlog. Each one comes with context, scope, acceptance criteria and expected outcomes.

Your starting profile helps shape the first task. Your work history and feedback help shape what comes next. Follow-up tasks extend the project, so your work can grow beyond a single submission.

AFor students who want to put their technical learning into practice alongside academics.

BFor early builders ready to work with requirements, testing, GitHub and technical documentation.

CFor people willing to explain decisions, work through blockers and keep improving.

Bring a computer, internet access, a GitHub account and familiarity with the technologies you want to practise. Tell us your starting point during onboarding.

Build. Reflect.
Go again.

A clear next step at every stage. Email connects you to your profile, workspaces and review updates.

Set your direction.

Register, follow your email link and share your skills, interests, GitHub profile and preferred track.

02 →

Get your brief.

Receive a project, module and a task with a clear scope, acceptance criteria and a deadline.

03 →

Make it happen.

Build in GitHub. Test your work. Send short Daily Scrum updates and ask for guidance when stuck.

04 →

Hand it over.

Submit the repository, branch, commit and readiness checklist. Answer any clarification questions.

05 ↺

Take the next step.

Receive the outcome and feedback. Your journey updates, then the next suitable task is prepared.

One task.
Plenty to figure out.

Your assignment is a focused part of a larger system. You’re not expected to build the entire product in one go.

EXAMPLE BRIEF / CUSTOMER MANAGEMENTBACKEND

Add customer creation to an existing API.

Accept customer details, validate the input and save the record. Return clear responses when data is invalid or already exists.

  • Understand the existing project context.
  • Implement the assigned requirements.
  • Verify success and error cases.
  • Document setup, decisions and known limitations.

Illustrative assignment only. Your actual brief follows your allocated project, available track and progress.

Engineering happens
between the lines of code.

You’ll practise reading requirements, working within scope, making decisions, debugging, testing and explaining what you built.

Use a branch for the task, make meaningful commits and maintain a README that someone else can follow. Reflection lives in your repository, alongside the decisions that matter.

Begin with the TTRP workspace template. Keep accepted work as the baseline for follow-up assignments in the same learning cycle.

Stuck is part
of the process.

Explain the blocker. Work through the reasoning. Build understanding you can use on the next task, too.

Your Daily Scrum captures what you completed, what you’ll do next and what’s blocking you. It’s asynchronous, so you can respond through your workspace.

ROUTE / 01

Bring context to your own AI.

Copy a contextual prompt from your workspace into your preferred AI assistant. It includes the backlog, your journey and past Scrum updates.

ROUTE / 02

Ask for further assistance.

Describe the blocker in detail and the specific answer you need. Submit it with your Scrum update so the request has useful context.

Your work,
with a story.

A public repository shows what you made. Your TTRP resident profile brings the journey together: current status, past backlogs, recorded scores, feedback and links to your work.

The profile is read-only and shareable. You choose who to share the link with, so others can explore the work behind your progress.

Recorded outcomes should be read in context. Your submitted work and recorded outcomes contribute to your residency history.

Who is TTRP for?

TTRP is designed for students and early builders who want to practise engineering work. Share your skills and learning goals during onboarding so your starting work has useful context.

Do I build a complete software product?

You receive a bounded task within a larger project and module. Follow-up work builds on previous work, but each assignment has its own scope and acceptance criteria. You are not expected to build the full product alone.

How is my track selected? Can I change it?

Choose from the tracks available during onboarding and tell us what you know and want to improve. Track changes can be requested at appropriate transitions between learning cycles. A change applies when you are ready for new work; it does not rewrite an active assignment.

What does Daily Scrum involve?

Write what you completed, what you plan to do next and whether you are blocked. If blocked, explain the issue and how you plan to address it. Updates follow scheduled TTRP working days. There is no additional daily requirement to upload screenshots, hours or commit counts.

What do I need to submit?

Your accessible GitHub repository, final branch name, full commit SHA, optional pull request and the readiness checklist. Commit your updated README, relevant engineering decisions and backlog reflection. Use the TTRP workspace template as the foundation.

How do review and the next assignment work?

Submission enters the evaluation queue. You may receive clarification questions before the result. Follow the feedback or requested changes. After acceptance, your journey is updated and the next appropriate assignment is prepared. Your residency record is updated as work progresses.

What happens if I miss updates or a deadline?

Repeated unanswered Scrum cycles can lead to an inactive status. A missed backlog deadline enters an escalation window of four scheduled Scrum working-day cycles. If the window expires without submission, participation can become inactive. Late or missing work is recorded in the resident journey; your workspace and history remain associated with you.

Is this employment or a placement guarantee?

TTRP is a structured learning residency that simulates engineering workflows. Registration is not an employment offer, a paid client-work assignment or a placement guarantee. The focus is practical experience and a record of work you can discuss and demonstrate.

How do I qualify for the student fee?

The student program fee is ₹5,555 for students with a student ID. The standard fee is ₹9,999. This page collects registration details only; it does not collect payment or student ID documents.

What is available in the pre-pilot?

The working pre-pilot includes onboarding, task allocation, Scrum, submission, email updates and a shareable profile. We continue to refine guidance, generation and evaluation. Residency scores should not be treated as independently verified proof of technical proficiency.
